The Hacker Thread about Absolutely Nothing Particular!

Wow!  What a beatdown!!  Indiana was outcoached, outhustled, and outplayed on both ends of the floor.  Cody Zeller should have stayed at home.  What a shameful performance in a big game.

I  am reading a book about survival in the wilderness. Did you know that owl is supposed to be one of the best eating birds you can find? I am pretty sure they are protected everywhere but in a survival situation anything goes.

I am going to ask a question and then scroll down with the answer. Does anyone know what you can find in the wilderness that will give you all of the viatimin C that you can find in oranges or any other fresh fruit?

Pine needles. I read that the Indians used to do this but didn't realize it was true. You can take pine needles and make a tea of them and it will give you all the Vitamin C you need along with a sense of well being. (I am off to find some pine needles)

I agree. My best friend went there and played for them back in the day.  When my Gonzaga lost, they were my second.  He had almost the same exact thing to say last night. He texted me and said "Outplayed, out-coached and out-hustled. Zeller should have stayed at home." *Twilight Zone Music*

Raider, do i know you?

Make sure it is white pine, my friend.  Five needles, lends a hand.  Break up small twigs and add them to the brew, to get vitamin b.  It is found in the cambien layer, between the bark, and the inner stick.

This is my stash.  Adirondack :"bark-eater".
White pine keeps its dead, terpentine filled branches, so it is a survivalist dream tree.  The terp, in it's raw form is an anti-microbial cut sealing superglue, as well as a waterproofer, and adhesive. I like the taste.

Okay and just for the uninitiated: Leaves of three, let them be. Do NOT use them for toilet paper!

You know, I heard many sermons at HAC that would fit in this thread:

"I'm just gunna unload the shotgun and let that buckshot of the Bible hit any old buzzard that's flyin!"

Sooo, that's why Gonebutstillforgotten always complained about that pain in the rear...I always thought it was b/c of Grounded Grid always kicking it...!

Many have been the time that I have walked through the pine thickets while meditating on the FFF and drinking a hot cup of pine needle tea!  :)

Real funny, Hackriotic!!  I actually had Michigan picked to be in the Final Four.  I have Louisville picked to go all the way.  I did not do so well on the other two teams in the Final Four.

I was pulling for Indiana against Syracuse. I can't figure out why Zeller refused to take that wide open foul-line jumper over and over again. He just kept driving to the basket into 3 defenders and getting blocked. It was frustrating. The problem with him is that he expected the refs to call fouls every time someone breathed on him (like the Big Ten officials did all season long).

Now....I will continue GLOATING since RAIDER has given me permission!    :D :D :D

I have a beautiful new red t-shirt.  It says "Indiana - Big 10 Champs!!"

That might look half as cool as my Michigan Final Four t-shirt...and we have a football team, too!  ;)
