The Hacker Thread about Absolutely Nothing Particular!

Your mama is so pious, when she walks into Church's Chicken, she wants to know what time the services are.

Back to school!

This is no excuse for not posting.

I did not cite it as an excuse.  Did I not post?

Is not my DPA rising?

You are working toward the Deadbeat Level of one.  For this I applaud you (though not standing).

As I've stated before, please no standing ovations.  I hate standing ovations.

But there is something you hate more!!

Who is going into the MLB Hall of Fame?

Exodus 20
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I've memorized this passage and quoted it many times.  I've read it at least three times a year for the past five years, but today I noticed it does not mention the wife not working on the Sabbath.

Just one of those things that hits you and makes you wonder.....

My nearly three decades of being a wife would like to say it's because the good Lord knows a wife never really gets a day off.  ;) "A man works from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done."

It's because of fried chicken!

Apparently Ken Griffey, Jr.

Who was the bozo who voted "no"?

This just proves that some people feel it is their responsibility to use their vote to protest or make a point, rather than to affirm the candidate.

Earnestly Contend

I believe he received 3 "No" votes.  I did not realize that no player had ever been voted in unanimously.  Aaron, Ruth, Mays, Dimaggio, Williams - How in the world could they not have been a 100% vote?

Raider's brain.

(In keeping with the subject of this thread - The Hacker Thread about Absolutely Nothing....)
