The Cubs once again were the Cubs.

I'm working in Chicago, on the North Side, this week.
The weeping, wailing and "next years" are audible over traffic.

So, can't hold your head up very high, as a Cards fan, can ya?

Actually I'm not a Cardinal fan, but yes they can hold their head up high.  Last time I looked they had 11 World Series titles.  The Cubs beat a banged up Cardinal team in the playoffs this year.  The Cubs are going to give the Cards a run for their money in the next several years.

It looks like the sCrUBS are going to be the powerhouse in the Division for a few.

I just listened to something last night about some new YOUNG pitchers.  :)

It would be interesting to hear from former HAC teachers who got caught up in the Jackie-boy inspired IFB churches are going to save America.............but later left when they couldn't take all the corruption & cover-ups.

From all I hear, IFB (X) churches are having a hard time just saving IFB(X) churches. Schools, churches, memberships all seem to be falling.

What would you like to know? Don't you think they realized they were duped and feel bad about being suckered?

My parents do. My mom speaks with some former HAC faculty members who feel that way as well.

Can the Cowboys tame the Seahawks?

Doesn't look like it with less than two minutes to go.

Gotta love the Royals "small ball" type of baseball -  Great fundamentals, singles and doubles, first to third on a single, stealing bases, getting the runner in from third with less than 2 outs, pure hustle, few mistakes, capitalize on the opponent's mistakes.

Almost at 100 pages. Haven't contributed here, as I have been saving America elsewhere. Since it has turned into a sports thread, I can say that I saw some of a Rugby match recently. Aus. vs N.Z.
