The Christian concerts that I have attended

A couple weeks ago we heard the Booth Brothers at that same church.  As we left, the car parked next to ours had a flat tire, and my husband helped the senior-aged couple change it.

Recording studio doesn't count I guess.  Multiple sessions different artists.

I loved Christine Wyrtzen when I was a teen/college student.

Does your boss know about that?  That will earn you some demerits!  ::)

My wife grew up going to all night sings at the Medina Temple in Chicago. I went once or twice with her and heard many groups whose names I don't remember.

Love Chris Tomlin music!

TidesofTruth, you stinkin' Hacker!!  Read the OP!  One concert per post.  How are we suppose to build the world's largest forum with thinking like yours?!!

And I'm sure you sat in the car and listened to the newest CD while your husband labored.

Wow - some of these names are a real blast from the past!

I'm the opposite. Having walked away from everything church/religion related for many years, I listen to any Christian music until around 2000.  My first Christian concerts (not counting the FBC youth activity to see the Gaithers in the 70's) were:

Amy Grant!

I think I've seen her 7 or 8 times, sometimes with Vince Gill, sometimes with the local orchestra, a Christmas show or two...

Matthew West with Mikeschair - 2012

Mikeschair with City Harbor - 2013

(I know this is two in one post, but they overlap.  No demerits, please!)

patriotic - our family went on a Singing at Sea cruise in 2012, then an Inspiration cruise earlier this year.  Fun times!

Besides on the cruises, I've seen the Booth Brothers several times locally.  They are so great!

The Collinsworth Family gives a free concert in NWI once a year and we went to see them about 2 years ago.  OMG what a blessing.  I can't wait to see them again this year.  I believe they just finished at Shipshawana recently.  She can sure play that piano.

Have I earned Honorary Hacker status yet with my consecutive posts?!?

My all-time favorite Christian concert: NEEDTOBREATHE!

(Jacksonville, FL in 2012 and Atlanta in 2014)

Steve Green (twice)
10th Avenue North-they are from south Florida (twice)
Collingsworth Family- they did a concert at the holiness church where my kids use to go to school

In my observation, the Christian rock groups are more "rockier" in person than if you hear their music on CD or the radio

kaba - I love Tenth Avenue North!

I've seen them, too.  I think it was in 2012, some small town in South Carolina.

I love them too! They put on a very good concert! It was packed!

I would expect a seasoned poster such as yourself to know the rules!  One concert per post!!
