Your wife wears yoga pants?  I hope you make every effort not to be seen with her.  It would destroy your testimony.

Castor, I don't think you are going to get the answer you are looking for. Fundies like Frag don't seem to be on here much any more. They are on the other old FFF.

I'm not looking for an answer.  I made my point early in the thread, and I'm sure it hit the target.  Now I'm just having some fun.

The drunks I encounter who need assistance it's usually during a blizzard. Same ole routine, different year. San Francisco Bay Area (aka Bay Area City Slickers) hop in the car for an hour or two jaunt up to the snow hearing of the first pending snowstorm. OF course the first snowstorm means Caltrans has not prepared, no dozers handy on the sides of the freeways or backroads yet. During a blizzard,  many drink more openly knowing Cops are somewhere else, busy

I approach offering to help. "I'll pay you", they quickly show me the money in their billfolds. As if that settles it.
I decline. they seem confused. Then I say "well are you getting out so we can take care of this?"
Next they point to their shoes, pull up their pants to show their socks. Colored socks, never white. Grab the coat from the backseat to show it's very lightweight. Insinuating they can't possibly get out of the vehicle. They offer $$ again
"I guess you'll be here a while, good luck, see ya". They get out pretty quick at that moment deciding to assist. Offering to drive them out is usually met with them informing me of the amount they paid for the car. Some insane amount of money that could have fed a small country but it is what it is. If needed, they all allow it eventually. Get home safely. Maybe with a few added dents but dents add character  :P

Up here we have something called Operation Red Nose which even young people use. There are only few crazy idiots that will get into a car and drive off drunk. There were a few of them in my mall this week. Young guys are the worst drunks - definitely not Otis from the Andy Griffith show kind of drunk. Just loud and scary - I thought they were mental patients at first.

We need something like Operation Red Nose but then CHP won't be able to get the matched funds. They must have a certain amount of DUI's at the end of the fiscal year to qualify for the Feds to match the funds. Same thing with the seatbelts. Pretty much whatever they spend money advertising on means double dollars for CHP. I heard a rumor next they will go after pedophiles so pretty much everyone will suddenly become child molesters. Kinda like so many here have DUI's though it isn't for drunk driving, just driving while intoxicated (1-2 drinks). On the evening of Dec 31st, many of our limo companies donate time to take drunks home.

LOL!

I hope none of them are Christians.  Doing that could hurt their testimony.

They would be sinning if they don't take the drunks home. Saving lives (it isn't just the drunks who get killed) is always right when you are given a chance to do so is always. The Bible says to him who knows to do good and doesn't do it to him it is sin.

Wow.  You didn't learn your lesson from the designated driver thread, did you?  Clearly, it doesn't matter if you're sinning or doing good.  Simply being seen with a drunk will damage your testimony, so you must avoid it.

But what if you are using a bait-and-switch tactic ministering to them so you can witness to them? Does that cause damage or earn you testimony points? (Of course, this is assuming that you will loudly let everyone know how righteous you are by witnessing to people you are much better than obviously so far outside of God's will.)
