Sad but true. We have such a system set up at our church. That was a task for the police & there was one closeby. That was years ago & the lesson for churches is have cops or armed members trained by the police at your services today.

I called them the nodders, the droopers & the droolers.I see heads in the land of Nod bobbing, weaving and jerking on Sunday nights.
That reminds me of a pastor of mine who visited FBCH and was giving a glowing report. He mentioned how all classes of people were welcome and specifically mentioned a couple not well of at all there sitting in their pew.. ......... and he actually said, "By that I mean literally sitting in their pew!"I remember my first Sunday morning at FBC Hammond. I sat by two very large women who may have ridden the bus. I have nothing against large women or buses; however, the way they smelled was very memorable! It was ghastly.
.Hearing what page the text was on in the Schofield Reference Bible.
I have Curtis Hutson, Jack Hyles and David Gibbs all on the same page. We could sell out the back of our trunks..
When I was 13, I was SO proud when my folks gave me my first Schofield Bible. I went through two. It occurs to me that I might be able to make alot of money (you, probably too)
BECAUSE
I have all the famous mens' signatures in the back of my Bibles from those days. Anybody want to buy John R Rice's signature from me? (Just kidding)

Yes, his work is greatly appreciated..
One of the signatures that I have is that of Lehman Strauss. Did you ever hear of him? He wasn't a preacher so much as a teacher and he wrote books on the different books of the Bible. I remember enjoying hearing him in my youth.
.
The good ole days!!!I see half frozen bus workers straggling into the late portion of the Sunday night service after being stranded most of the day on a broken down bus on the side of the highways around Chicago.
What year did you graduate? The good ole days!!!
You were there in the early days!I remember a bus kid puking on me on the way to church. I had to walk up to Dean Jorgensen to ask for permission to go back to the college and change. I also remember the look on his face when he caught a whiff of me.
Same teacher mandated that all numerical fours were to be closed at the top making a triangle that represented the trinity and pointed to God. Any open fours supposedly represented the devil's pitchfork and would immediately be given an incorrect mark for the work, even if the answer was correct.I remember "science" class at HAC. The "instructor" had us write down the verses in the Bible that referred to animals - any animal. It was unreal.
We have Pew Bibles in our church. I tell folks what page to turn to in their pew Bible.Hearing what page the text was on in the Schofield Reference Bible.
Like it matters, but what year?Same teacher mandated that all numerical fours were to be closed at the top making a triangle that represented the trinity and pointed to God.
