Questionable Churches

I hope this isn't too general, but I was thinking about What are some good reasons not to go (or go) to a non-denominational (or any other denomination besides IFB honestly) church? [Soeaking as a frequent attender of FBCH]

I would read "9 Marks of a Healthy Church" in order to get your framework right. Make sure any church you choose holds to the authority of the Word and is ruled by a plurality of elders. Plenty of solid non-denominational and PCA churches that fit this mold.

PCA is the church of Donald Trump, if you want to be associated with "grab em by the presbyterian".

Presbyterian Church (USA) is much different than Presbyterian Church (PCA) and everyone outside of your corner of West Virginia knows that!

Whatever you say. PCA actually practices Biblical church discipline so he must not be a member. Now if you said Trump was a Fundy, it would make sense. Nobody is held accountable for anything even when convicted in a court!  Hilarious and SAD.

Why are you not satisfied with your President being a member of your denomination? He didn't grab your presbytery elders yet?

It only takes a minute amount of yeast, you know, to permeate an entire loaf of bread.  Trump is a degenerate and a black eye on our republic!

It depends on how the Holy Spirit leads you.  It also depends on your level of spiritual maturity.

There's a guy here in the ward that was, believe it or not, saved in a non-denominational rock-n-rock CCM type church.  But after about 4 months, he started to see things in a different way.  He was growing in the Lord.  The Lord led him to an IFB church where he's been for years.

It's obvious to me that some people are in the church they are in out of rebellion.  So be it.

It's also obvious that some people are in solid Bible churches and are deader than a doornail. 

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I just felt like typing a lot of words.

If you are growing in the LORD you will leave whatever church you are in and join an IFB church?  That is rich!

I had to laugh at the ridiculous claim that a pastor is THE overseer "according to scripture".

Talk about cult...

You may not agree that "elder" and "bishop" are other names for "pastor", but "bishop" means "overseer", and I Pet 5 commands elders to "take the oversight" of the churches.
