One of the children on my bus route, a second grader, who has a tremendous Christian spirit, just lost his great grandma. That would not be significantly huge prayer-worthy news, if it weren't for the fact that she and his great-grandpa are his primary caregivers. It's unfortunately a typical story of how younger generations of parents, and in this case even the grandparents, have so many stereotypical (prison, drugs, overdose, etc) problems that the child is better off with the elderly. Please pray for Ki'Rese as well as his surviving great-grandpa. Thanks

That's tough on Great Grandpa, he's probably in his 80's. To lose his wife and have the burden of a child (who I am certain that he loves with all his heart.

Very true. In addition, it's not his biological grandchild. I met with him today and as you can imagine he was confused and bewildered about the loss of the love of his life. He did have the presence of mind to say that his small grandchild would help him to stay focused on putting one foot in front of the other.

He has not ever been to our church, but please pray for the opportunity to minister to him and to see him come to faith in the Lord.
