My church, Bible Baptist Church of New Franklin, MO, is looking for a pastor. Please pray we find God's man for our church.

If you know of good, qualified men looking to pastor, please send them to our website,  www.nfbbc.org  for instructions on applying.

Resumes can be mailed to:
Bible Baptist Church
4001 Highway 5
New Franklin, MO 65274

or emailed to: pastorsearch AT nfbbc.org.

More importantly, we covet your prayers for God's will. Thank you, and the Lord bless you!

You are one of God's men, for your church.

When you show me in the Scriptures where it says that a church needs "A" pastor, then I'll pray for that end.
Right now, I pray that you all wake up, actually believe the Bible, and appoint bishops and elders from among the men in your flock.
I pray you stop the idolatry, of looking to an earthly shepherd.

You will be mad at me for my response, but I dare you to prove me wrong, and show me where God told any NT church to put one man in charge.

I can tell you where he said not to, in 1st Timothy 5.

Your church needs God, and you ARE one of His men.

Praying you find God's man for your church.  You put this in the fellowship forum, the appropriate place, so don't pay attention to the curmudgeons.

We can felllowship, when we all actually accept the written Word as our guide book.

Until then, a thing God hates separates us.

Amen.

It's okay. It seems like many have an axe to grind, and trolling is a lot of fun.

The Bible says the Lord gave the church pastors and teachers. We don't have a pastor right now.

We don't worship man, we sincerely try to follow the Lord and His plan for His church as found in His Word. We are simply asking for people to lift us up in prayer and spread the word we are looking to God to provide us a good, Godly pastor according to His will.

If you truly think we are in idolatry in looking for a pastor then I would ask you to pray for us, especially every time you troll our post.

Philippians 1:15-19

Lord bless you all!

I remembered you in prayer today ... and will continue to do so ... keep us posted on your progress from time to time.

There is never a right place to discuss the Emperor's new clothes, it seems.
Grown accustomed to the breeze n all, he has.

I'll try to only nod my head and smile, as if I was one of the poor saps who doesn't want their impure heart exposed.

Ok, that lasted 5 seconds.
Now back to standing and contending.

Climbs back up into saddle atop NT,
commonly referred to by the Emperor as a "hobby  horse".

Please rest assured of our ongoing prayers for you and your church family.  We will continue to uplift your needs in prayer.

In regard to the "angel" of the seven churches in Revelation 2&3:

we are to understand the messenger or person sent by God to preside over this Church
Adam Clarke

"Unto the angel." The minister; the presiding presbyter; the bishop--in the primitive sense of the word bishop--denoting one who had the spiritual charge of a congregation.
Albert Barnes

"To the church of Ephesus," a famous church planted by the apostle Paul (Acts 19), and afterwards watered and governed by John, who had his residence very much there.
Matthew Henry

Since good men agree with the position that God calls a man and places him in charge of the spiritual welfare of a local congregation, I will pray that God sends you such a man to the church in New Franklin, MO.

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.
The Bible

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you—
The Bible

There is to be one lead pastor and preacher per church.
Your Imagination

It's a redefinition of messenger/angel to mean pastor so they can claim the Bible supports a "one pastor to rule them all" assembly.

Try it, it's fun.  Just pick a word and redefine it so you can make the Bible say anything you want.

It must be fun...you've become pretty good at it.

Love the "I know you are but what am I" snappy comeback.  And you didn't even take a whole day to think it up.
