Enless their are non available, this is in my opinion.  :-X

IFB's and Catholics agree on that.  :P

But I and my denominations, past and present, don't agree. I might even become a pastor myself.

IMHO, gender is one of the least important things to consider in discerning the call.

If you became a pastor, then who would be the head of your home, if you're married?  If you're the head of the church, than you must be the head of your home. ???

I guess that means you have no hope of being a pastor, TGL.

That's right. Dates easy to find, suitable candidates for marriage much harder. Maybe I'm too picky.

Here are some good tips to help you find the right man.

1. He have a KJ bible.
2. He has no tattoos.
3. He wear pants, not a dress.
4. He does not wear flip flops everyday. "Lazzy"
5. He does not wear sun glasses all the time. He might be using drugs.
6. He talks like a man and has no gay friends, he may change you for one of them.
7. That he eats and drinks, like a man. No napkins, licks his fingers.
8. Has working man hands, not a sissy.

This will help.... :)

Hmm, interesting list.

1. Ok, so I'll be annoyed at not easily understanding his bible quotes. That'll help.

2. I like tattoos if they're good art. Most tattoos aren't, but Seattle has many good and very talented tattoo artists.

3. Describes me as well. I own maybe two dresses, that only come out for weddings and funerals.

4. I wear flip-flips every day, in the Summer at least.

5. I wear sunglasses every day, if it's sunny out.

6. I'm not sure what "talks like a man" means, other than negative stereotypes from sitcoms. And he doesn't like any of my gay friends? That would be an issue.

7. Yeah, poor table manners is always a plus.  ::)

8. That's alright. I don't mind hands that are well used. As a martial artist, mostly in the Japanese tradition, I don't have soft dainty hands either.

I'd also point out that plenty of "working men" don't have "working man hands".

I think we should go by what the bible says. But I don't think it says what you think it says.

To claim the bible says women can be pastors Is foolishness, plain and simple. No matter what liberal denominations say the bible is very clear on the subject.

And some conservative denominations, such as Assemblies of God and Foursquare.

They are considered liberal by bible believers
