So much for the good ole days. Not much changes.
Timeless quote.
If you quit bringing your pagan notions to the bible, you'll make a better theologian.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: andtheyinfants and little children were judged according to their works.
I don’t understand??
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: andtheyinfants and little children were judged according to their works.
Its extremely simple. There are those who believe infants and little children will be judged according to their works and sent to hell for eternity even though they have no works to be judged for. Jesus said, "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3-5). Infants can't "repent and believe the gospel." Those who teach such things are hyper-calvinists who believe in the sovereignty of God but deny man's responsibility to exercise faith. It is something Charles Spurgeon and every other theologian can't reconcile. I believe it is a vile doctrine just like Spurgeon said.I don’t understand??
If what Jesus taught is hyper-Calvinism, that just makes hyper-Calvinism look better.Jesus said, "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3-5). Infants can't "repent and believe the gospel." Those who teach such things are hyper-calvinists who believe in the sovereignty of God but deny man's responsibility to exercise faith.
You deny the responsibility of man. You are a hyper-calvinist. Infants can't repent and believe the gospel. If what Jesus taught is hyper-Calvinism, that just makes hyper-Calvinism look better.
You deny the responsibility of man.
You are a hyper-calvinist.
Infants can't repent and believe the gospel.
Men and women go to hell because they have willingly and knowingly broken God’s moral law. They will be judged and condemned according to their works (Rev 20:11-15).Wrong.
Also wrong.
So what saves them?
Romans 5 says differently. I've already explained this, but of course you ignored it.Esau was rejected because he was a fornicator and profane person who “found no place of repentance” (Heb 12:16-17) He went to hell for his own sins, not the sins of Adam.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:Romans 5 says differently. I've already explained this, but of course you ignored it.
Sin is not imputed when there is no law (Rom 5:13).
We have both given our arguments. Let Christians come to their own conclusions. Why are you behaving like an unbeliever and pitting Scripture against Scripture?
