I've actually thought about using the ignore feature on some people (both on here and the one other board I'm on), but I don't want to disengage from someone intentionally. I've never been a fan of total shunning because the community is where healing occurs.

Is there a limit to positive and/or negative karma that can be given similar to the other forum?  Curious since all my negative is from one person with whom I have had little interaction with, but has just kind of been remarking on benign posts at will.

We all fail in both regards, imo.

I'll definitely confess my guilt in this area. But I hope that I am, by God's grace, being conformed into the image of His Son. It is what I, however imperfectly, strive for.

He is the only standard, and being a Calvinist, we will be conformed to His image, sooner or later.

Good question.  I have the same problem; one person who seems to think that being persistent is a fault or something.

I suggest you wrap the negative rep button with duct tape so no one can click on it any more.

I was accused of being someone else and given negative rep when I arrived here.  It does not bother me any.  I am just glad to be saved and serving in my local church.
