The shortest best explanation for the crash...

This tragedy has stunk to the highest heavens since its occurrence. Before Captain Lobach was made public, the reports were out that this pilot had 500 hours or less. That is nothing especially when this pilot was requesting VFR status, which is often granted to military helicopter pilots. However, the request was granted despite the few flight hours that the pilot had and the fact that it was night in a busy airspace. When the status was first granted, the plane was 5nm away but the helicopter pilot said she was aware of the plane's presence. The pilot further acknowledged the planes's presence seconds before the collision even after being warned they were getting awfully close to each other.

The female officer was piloting the helicopter, the co pilot/trainer was the one actually handling the tower communication. That is the normal mode of operation between the pilot and co pilot

Some of my teeth gnashing friends on the left are convinced that all of the recent crashes are because of DOGE. Just more evidence that conspiracy theories abound on both sides.

I seems some people don't know the difference between hiring people based on merit instead of checking race or gender boxes. Any company that would brag and promote the discrimination against men should be sued because it is illegal. Was it because of women pilots that were hired for the sake of hiring women? Why shouldn't one question such practices?

Really...you think suggesting a link between a decade of seriously reduced standards enabling a 'girl-boss' culture in the commercial airline industry and the rain of airplanes falling out of the sky is on the same level as a TDS hissy over a month of audits?
