He blogs about Kevin Keever and the church HE destroyed with his lies and adultery, now gloats over the demise. He has also evidently been in contact with some of the members of Fords Bush. As I told Kevin, if those loons still listen to Marty, they deserve him....and worse, if there is anything worse.

This is the second time Marty blogged about the situation, but took down the first post, after some pressure, I think.

This just goes to show that Marty is a narcissistic, arrogant, ignorant caricature of what's wrong with so called IFBX-dumb.
Marty fails to mention that Kevin, through no fault of his own, became captain of the Titantic because Marty drove it into the iceberg.

Marty, you are a real piece of work....I feel sorry for your wife, kids and the church you now help to lead.....because, spiritually you couldn't lead a sick goat to water. IMHO, of course!
 
So what is happening at Fords Bush? Or did I miss it in another thread?
 
I don't think there is any kind of cure for that kind of sick.  >:(
 
Marty (as I have said many times) is unqualified to be a "pastor", and not just the result of his adultery, this is more evidence that there is something wrong inside.

Kevin and his family have had a very difficult time at Fords Bush, and have done 'their best' under very difficult circumstances...because of Marty's adultery and lies. I have said before, Kevin was probably in over his head from the beginning, but the situation was placed in his lap because of MARTY'S SIN!

Now, the Trustee, who's wife committed adultery with Marty is still leading the pack. they did ask Kevin to resign, bogus reasons, IMO, but the rest of the story told in Marty's blog post is skewed at best, lies at worst...depending on your perspective.

I have been in contact with Kevin and he has handled the situation as best he could, IMO.

Marty has been I contact with the idiots at Ford's Bush and evidently is advising them, at least Marty is in the know from their (Trustee's) perspective...wonder if the hubby of Martys partner in adultery is his buddy now?

Think he's still "doing" the secretary and getting "inside" information? I wouldn't put it past him at all.

Churches very seldom consider how they affect a full time pastors life by asking him to leave in short notice. I understand people like Marty. He should have gotten worse. I don't know Kevin but I sympathize with him.
 
I'm not God, but if I were, "ICHABOD" would be written over that church - or at least over those members who are NOT Christian, which is a good many of them.

This simply shows that Marty has been in the middle of this the whole time....he seems to know everything, but from a skewed viewpoint. The trustees asked Kevin to resign and not to take it before the church. I asked Kevin if they offered severance....and it was in their by laws so I told him to hold the church to it. He made less than 250 per week.

His family have made their home there for years, it's the place his kids have called home most of their lives...because Marty brought him there!
The church was a mess when Kevin became Pastor BECAUSE MARTY MADE A SINFUL MESS OF THINGS!

I wonder if Marty's current Pastor knows of his meddling in the affairs (pun intended) of another autonomous local church?
 
I think, for the sake of the offended party, whoever posted Marty's "blog post" needs to remove it from this board if the offended party (Kevin) is not here to defend himself. No need to be spreading Marty's trash around the interwebz.
 
I have a little different take on this. Here is the typical ifb pastor preaching (usually just wasting time) and hollering about revival. And "We need revival in America!" And pointing to 200 things that people do as to why revival doesn't happen and NEVER, EVER look at himself. This was my life for about 30 years.

You're right that his blog probably isn't read by all that many people...Marty has few fans.
I didn't post this thread in a vacuum, Kevin is/was aware I was going to do so.
Marty needs to be exposed for the lying, self serving charlatan he is....I don't think the blog hurts anyone but Marty at this point.

But, I'm willing to delete my quote of the quote of the blog post...and the link to the blog IF Kevin wants......

No one should have to beg for a severance package if it is in the church by laws. What kind of church expects their pastor to live on a lousy $250 per week!? Doesn't he have 4 kids? So not only did the church severely underpay Kevin, but then they renig on the severance pay they owed him.

How very dishonest of them!

I believe he was paid less than 250 per week.
Not sure how many children they have, but on that salary you couldn't support a pet cat.
And, I think he received the severance....Marty's blog made it appear Kevin blackmailed them for the money...which was a deliberate lie!
 
I can see that MB is still garnering the amount of respect he so richly deserves.  ;)

Maybe Marty was screwing around with the trustee too. That is the only way their relationship makes any sense.
