The commenter is probably right, at least about Trudeau being turfed (if jot in "a month or so," then October at the latest when the present government expires). He's overstayed his welcome.
This is a recommendation to the government, not law yet. That said, about 10 years ago, the Libs enacted a policy for the summer jobs program (grants to employers to encourage hiring summer students) that disallowed granting funds to anyone who did not affirm a pro-choice position. Like Kamala Harris, abortion rights seem to be the hill Junior wants to die on. So be it.
