I'm wondering though if there should be more prayer for the man and not condemning him. Are we saying there isn't an ounce of sincerity in his heart towards God regardless of how much many here think he's gone amiss. Shouldn't we be praying for people who fall or fail, if that indeed is what he has done, but we pray for him to be strengthened, encouraged and restored? Are any of us perfect? The Bible states we need to be careful of the attitude we have towards others less we fail. Is that not what the scriptures say? Would we want God at the end of time ask us, "But did you pray for the man?" Or did you just throw stones?
I'm not saying I'm perfect in all things in how I've responded to things but it is good food for thought for all of us to consider.
