Is this forum going to be all nice and feminine like the "Friendly" forum?

Is this forum going to be all nice and feminine like the "Friendly" forum?  You know, no arguing, no brutal attacks, just singing Kum-Bay yah and sipping sweet tea?

Or is somebody gonna being Deacon Dixon and The Glory Land over so we have someone to get mad at and fight with?
 
In time they and their kind will find their way over here...the fighting will begin, hopefully like the old FFF and not the garbage that is happening at the other forum.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer to have my big debates with people who aren't nutjobs, and who just might have a legitimate point.

Now, seriously, I like to argue a serious point or two.  But there is not much of that over there.
 
We could send a special invitation to someone who will not be named that is banned from the FFF ... that would liven things up in a hurry!

Exactly my point! I hope we'll do better here. And having atheist trolls like Deacon Dixon pretending to be the X'iest of the X'ers so he can yank our chains for lulz doesn't get us there. I hope we can avoid that: it makes the signal to noise ratio pretty poor.
 
It can be nice, and it can be feminine, but just because it's one doesn't automatically mean it's the other.  8)

I think Water5 took over that site. It's still active, although no one has posted to it in almost a year.  Guess they weren't "friendly" enough.  That or maybe the "church ladies" there had a fallin' out.
 
I think we need a Shiloh-like character over here to keep things interesting. Maybe not Shiloh himself as he kind of self destructed at the end, just someone who is willing to take on that particular personality style.
 
Maybe we should issue invitations to all the old forum crazies: Shiloh, John Wolf, Fullcourt and White Knight, tsaphah, Wally Duncaster . . .
 
In order to be successful long term, this Forum needs both protagonists and antagonists.
IHHO, that is why the other 'wannabes' have failed.

We need the ability to have a good old 'lightly moderated' free for all.
And, in order to do that, we need a few i-dots!
And they know who they are.... :D

There should be some "friendly" debates but I hope we don't have any Demon Dixon or TGL here. They contribute nothing of any real value.
