Ok I'll say it.  Something strikes me quite disingenuous to decide that now God wants you to pastor your "own" church, take a good portion of the membership from the church you are in, pretend that you are going to a different part of the world for a few months and then set up shop in the back yard of your former church 4 miles away as a crow flies.  Then thank the church who let your rent their old property that they are the one's that "birthed you".

God will sort it all out but I'm nobodies fool.

I had a similar thought:  He mentioned he felt led to reach the people of Chicago.... and South Holland is 18% white, 74% Black, and 5% Spanish.... just thought this was an interesting location

Also, do you find it interesting that he is not preaching at the Spanish conference... looks like speakers from all over the world are coming  (see https://twitter.com/BroGomez4HizCoz )

Hyles said if you did this type of thing that you were a crook.  He was right.

Sadly this type of crooked behavior is very common.

What is even better are these chapels around FBC and their behind held up as church plants.  Has Bob Marshall ever done anything on his own?

He sure has. He has made a small fortune brokering roofing materials.

The church is just a hobby.
 
When the Chicago land area is at least 250 square miles why would he pick a location so close to another very large Spanish ministry? It seems anywhere along 290 would be a great place to build a large Spanish work.

Ignoring the ethics issues, what possible reasons would he build so close to Hammond. It seems to be counterproductive  for all involved. If he located on the other end of Chicago the two ministries could have worked together on projects and supported each other.

I went through all the pics and their are at least 50 men recognizable. That is a rather broad statement and assumes a knowledge of a large number of men.
