I know we've all thought it . . .

Bovine excrement.

Probably, in Spamderson's case.  But not unrealistic.  One of the English profs at my alma mater had the complete works of Shakespeare committed to memory. Collectively, they are larger than the Bible.

I'm sure you sat and heard every word.....

Only Denzel Washington has the Bible memorized!

I noticed that Anderson, in almost all his video sermons.... READS from HIS BIBLE. Seems like a real waste of time if he has it all committed to memory. I just watched one of his video in which he sangs the Psalm 11...The man couldn't go two verses without looking down for "reference"...

I guess memorization isn't what it used to be!

Or maybe he was reading the notes, since he wrote the music?  Don't pretend you can keep up.  You may not like him, but you can't say :"brain power" isn't there.

I've heard him quote several chapters at one time.  At the time he had memorized Matthew first, and was going for Luke later.  He said that Deuteronomy/Leviticus, Chronicles/Kings, and Matthew/Luke were the challenging areas.
I have no reason to believe that he could start from any passage that was referenced in a discussion, and quote the context.
I've heard him go in and out of several languages, quoting scripture in Hungarian, German, Spanish, and English, giving renderings from four different Translations, while conversing with Native Speakers of those tongues....in one conversation.  One, the Hun, was an engineer@  Mercedes-Benz, and an atheist (Euro-indifference most likely).

Of course, I wasn't watching a youtube vid.  seeking some occassion to accuse him.  We were wiring a Warehouse for fire control systems for 12 hours a day.  One dinner break, he led the Korean owner, of the nearby restaurant we had been frequenting, to the Lord.  He spoke some words in Korean, I have no idea what he said.

You can disagree with someone, but don't mock them, when you don't know the truth.  It makes you look petty.

Don't backtrack, you know he's at least capable of it.

I've  heard people say that they we're there, when Ruckman would offer to quote the verse before, and the verse after any verse that a person in the audience would quote.
He may be on Neptune, looking for the abducters that keep probing the body cavities of Floridian trailer park residents, but he has the AV dialed in.  So it's possible.

I hadn't stated anything about his ability to memorize the Bible, so I have nothing to have "backtracked" from. Get your attributions straight.

I also know that he is "at least capable" of going super-paranoid and taking potshots at border agents with a sniper rifle.  But I wouldn't ascribe the act to him. So what's your point?

My point was that Steve can be accused of a lot of things, that are debatable:  lacking IQ is not one of them.

We can either take hs word, that he has the Bible memorized, especially those of us who have heard him quote several chapters , or we can doubt.  It doesn't change the fact that he's perfectly capable of it, and that $3 Canadian gets him a cup of Starbucks coffee, if he takes it black.

I have no problem calling you or him a liar for making such a claim. Either prove it by demonstrating it... or shut up. You made the claim. PROVE IT. I know its not common for a KJVOist to provide prove for much of anything they say....but you really should provide evidence for your claim. His videos are full of him READING from the KJV. Seeing him recite a few chapters here and there ISN'T reciting the 1189 chapters found in the KJV.

By the way....its really PETTY to claim to have memorized the entire KJV.

He can't prove it....just like the "thousands" of souls won bragged about by such Xers who don't exist.  Anybody who thinks someone who claims the number of verses in the NIV in the book of Mark proves it is the "mark of the beast", has got serious intellectual issues, not to mention is just a nut job!
