Patterson and the Highlanders.

Back in the 80's a staff member told me that his tour group brought in 300+ applications every summer. I know the high school where I attended absolutely loved the guy.

He is one of a kind.  I don't think there is a lot of middle ground on Jack.  You either love him or think he is a jerk.
He presents himself as a jerk on purpose, to people who he thinks are HACkers.

He always cracked me up.  I can still hear him and Gomez coming down the hallway with their little group of cronies.
I was blessed to spend time with all of those cronies, when I traveled with him.
You name one, we went to his church.

Graduation for HAC is Friday night. Last night, at the Wednesday night service, there were at least 10 pastors in early for the graduation service. No I do not recall names. But I think there is a lot of support for HAC.

HAC graduation is Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM.

No more late Friday nights at graduations.

HAC graduation attendance somewhere around 3,800 to 4,000.

Lower floor had just a handful of empty seats.

Balcony was closed but had about 50 in darkened seats.

Quit surprising considering  last year's attendance.

The crowd today would have nearly packed out the old auditorium.

Old auditorium could hold about 4,400 with all seating areas filled, verified by usher head count made several weeks in a row before we built the new building.

And there were 180+ certificate earners, graduates, and masters diplomas. A few more than the previously mentioned 12___ .

Did not count, but had to be at least 40 pastors. I will defer to anyone else on that.
