Someone recently told me that HAC's attendance is 416 with 120 graduating this year.  I would think that the attendance would be down, but this number seems too low.  Has anyone else heard any numbers?  BCH, I believe you were in a HAC chapel this year.  What would your estimate be?

There is a pic on Facebook that shows the whole student body in the dinning hall taking a Bible knowledge test, I counted somewhere around 400.

So that sounds about right.

Quote from facebook
"This morning the entire student body is taking the annual Bible Knowledge Test. The Bible Knowledge Test is a comprehensive test of the entire Bible designed to test the student's knowledge of the Scriptures"

Here is the pic that was with it. See for yourself.

We had more than that in Church ED in the 70's.

But not surprising news to me.

And the '80s.

I know the attendance is down... I also know for a fact, it is closer to 1,000.... probably 800

i was there in the dead of winter. Heat was out in the chapel. Chapel was held in the DH. They were congregated in the lower level with a few of the side rooms being used. I would have thought more than 416, but not much more than 500. So........................... 416 may be right.

The attendance in '12 after the debacle was around 750. So 1,000 would be up from when or 800 would be down from when.

Anyway, whatever the attendance  the whole group had better center on the local church.

Senior Day 2014 (23 photos)
Today begins the final week of the 2013-14 school year for Hyles-Anderson College. On Friday morning we will graduate nearly 200 seniors. Just a few days ago we took those seniors to Chicago for Senior Day. Here are a few pictures from that event.

(posted from hac facebook page)

The math doesn't add up... only like 35% graduate or something....

Within the past month, a FBCH staff member told a friend of mine these general numbers.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen!

Who were the big draws for HAC over the years?

Hyles
Schapp
Owens
Hooker
Christian Womenhood speakers
Teft
S. Grey

Who else should make the list from the past & who would make the list today?

Back in the 80's a staff member told me that his tour group brought in 300+ applications every summer. I know the high school where I attended absolutely loved the guy.

He is one of a kind.  I don't think there is a lot of middle ground on Jack.  You either love him or think he is a jerk.

And Schaap ran him and Grady off.  Pure genius.

He presents himself as a jerk on purpose, to people who he thinks are HACkers.

He always cracked me up.  I can still hear him and Gomez coming down the hallway with their little group of cronies.
