FEMA Safety

They're a federal agency. They work at half the speed and twice the cost. An agency like FEMA is physically incapable of getting boots on the ground with the efficiency of a private charity like, say, Samaritan's Purse.
This is true. I am glad that you mentioned Samaritans Purse. The narrative for the first couple of days was that FEMA was blocking Christians from helping and arresting some of them for helping. At the same time Samaritans Purse was reporting on the work their teams doing. Folks got caught up in the storyline and passed it on and on. A real time example of how a meme works. It becomes “true” because enough people repeated and magnified it until, in this case, at least one person was ready to use violence to solve the “problem”. A problem that even he admitted didn’t exist.

What works well is when the federal government funds the operation and uses civilian contractors and NGO's to do the work.

One example is very large Army Corp of Eng. projects that are planned with military precision and organization, but the actual work is performed be highly skilled civilian contracters. All work is verified by military personel and the money is carefully tracked and accounted for. Its a win win

The current commanding General of the Army Corp of Engineers is Lieutenant General William H. “Butch” Graham, Jr

He is no paper pusher, he is a combat Veteran with a Distinguished Service Medal, two Legions of Merit, five Bronze Stars, four Meritorious Service Medals, two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, and the Combat Action Badge.

If they were at a FEMA site like a disaster recovery site they should have been happy they were only asked to put their weapons in their vehicle. Once those sites are rented by FEMA they are federal property. The legal ability to concealed/open carry does not extend to federal property.
true.... that;s what in the codes written by bureaucrats and supported by the justice department.... ...... but the right to concealed/open carry should extend to federal property most of all.. . .. because federal property is public property..... it belongs to us... not to a select cadre of bureaucrats.... ..allowing open/concealed carry on all public property... (government included).... is what would be consistent with the 2nd ammendment.... but these days even conservatives act as if paying lip service to certain ammendments in the bill of right is good enough... ..don;t bother trying to practice those concepts....
