This is true. I am glad that you mentioned Samaritans Purse. The narrative for the first couple of days was that FEMA was blocking Christians from helping and arresting some of them for helping. At the same time Samaritans Purse was reporting on the work their teams doing. Folks got caught up in the storyline and passed it on and on. A real time example of how a meme works. It becomes “true” because enough people repeated and magnified it until, in this case, at least one person was ready to use violence to solve the “problem”. A problem that even he admitted didn’t exist.They're a federal agency. They work at half the speed and twice the cost. An agency like FEMA is physically incapable of getting boots on the ground with the efficiency of a private charity like, say, Samaritan's Purse.
