Anybody excited about going?
I like the lineup of preachers, but I'm not excited about the staff teaching me anything.

Anybody like to take a stab at what session topics would/could/should be?

Suggestion 1:
Blind loyalty 101?

Good thing the college will be in session so they will have somewhat of a crowd. Don't you feel the electricity in the air? I really hate to sound so negative about a place I once felt so strongly about but hey! Stuff happens! The prevailing church staff has been a BIG disappointment to me also. Enough said.

I am surprised that Johnny Pope has hung in there.  FBCH/HAC had turned their back on him years ago, and Schaap brought him back, deservingly so.

He has a good opportunity and good reason to turn his back on the same ones who abandoned him, and he did not.

They still celebrate Jack Hyles birthday every year?

It is on their calendar.

Um, that is rather freakish...

I was hoping that FBCH would step away from the "national meetings" and concentrate on the church members and people in the area.  Instead of a "national conference" how about having a 3 - 5 day revival for the church.  Why not bring in an evangelist for a revival meeting instead of pastors?

I agree.  The staff has been greatly criticized for sitting by and allowing Schaap to teach and preach heresy.  You would think they would let some time pass and rebuild people's confidence before they started in on the "do it like we do" thought pattern.

Paul Kingsbury is the Pastor at North Baptist Church, and was the Pastor when justmamma, myself and hubby worked there. He is a good man, and I always enjoy listening to him speak.

Session Topic:
How to ignore blatant heresy for the last 10 years and act like nothing ever happened?

It must be difficult to change the tv channel, open a Diet Coke, and post on the FFF at the same time.  :)

It actually was type, drink my sweet tea and talk on the phone!
