Logged on the the link above today. Saw that Davey-boy is pouting about how some people want him to fail in his restoration endeavors. He plays the victim & gets all spiritual & saying he must pray for them. Then the following quote, "There are people today who have made it their mission to destroy me and to make my life miserable. "

Not my mission. But if there are said people I would venture to say some of them might be:
-women who were seduced & who's lives were impacted as teens,
-their parents,
-women who were seduced & who's lives were impacted as married ladies,
-their husbands, most are now ex-husbands
-their children.

I got the same impression from Dave. His dad always used to tell stories and his patented phrase was, "He was out to destroy me and my ministry".

As has been stated, there probably is a place for a ministry like this, but not with Dave running it.  (Can you imagine how a predator would enjoy having additional victims at a bad time in their lives?) Dave has NO business being in any kind of ministry (still no admission of guilt, restitution, etc.), but again, he is trying to cash in on the name.

Why don't Baker and Gray just change their last name to "Hyles" and get it over with already.

What gets me is the absolute gall Dave has, like nobody is going to remember the past.  It's all swept away.

Well, I don't believe lacking in gall has ever been one of his characteristics.

Even though I never said much, I questioned him when he started hawking a new book by Greg Neal and joined his church. Since then Greg Neal has become (in his eyes) one of the greatest young fundamentalist of our generation. I asked Gray why he continues to throw stones and castigate people who may not dot every i and cross every tee exactly like him on the kvj but he continues to promote perverts. A police report says that they believe Greg Neal was guilty of a crime when he was caught videotaping girls undressing but the statute of limitations had run out and could not prosecute. Same with old davey boy.

I brought the same issue up to Sheldon Smith (editor of the Sword of the Lord).  He did reply, stating that I didn't know the whole story, and that Greg Neal had taken a lie detector test to prove his innocence.

My response to this was that without detailed information about the questions and answers from the polygraph, it would be hard to claim that he was innocent; the authorities were in full agreement that the evidence of his guilt was "overwhelming" - only the expired statute of limitations prevented them from taking action.

He didn't respond to my second email.

... and I'm not even sure that anyone can say that Jesus didn't - consider the "O ye of little faith" and Jesus' response to Philip in John 14, and (maybe) Jesus' response to Thomas about not believing that He had been resurrected.

The gall to ask for financial support.  Follow the money trail during Dave Hyles' ministry.

My skeptical self says that it's possible that the guy has realized through the years that Christians are gullible and easily manipulated.  He saw what he and his father could get away with in Hammond.  He just may be a sociopath.  Of course, I have no proof, but actions speak MUCH louder than words!
