Do we have any animal lovers out there?

I could be wrong but if there are horses in heaven surely there are dogs.......... :)

Well, in heaven there is no beer.  That's why we drink it here.  And when we're all gone from here.  Our friends will be drinking all the beer.

When I was a kid, there was a radio program called Sunday afternoon Polka Party on the local Am radio station and they played that song every week.

If it's really heaven, there will have to be a no pets area....on the good side of town!

I don't know, there maybe a couple of jackasses on the good side of Heaven. Just saying ...

Now I'm laughing tooooo hard.............. :)

Here are a few dogs I brought home today. They were running in and out of cars. Animal Control says they were originally in a pack of 6 dogs last week.

Took a while to gain their trust. A good samaritan brought me part of a pot roast so that did the truck. They hopped in the truck after about an hour or so.

They get along great with my wolf though we will have to build the fence higher at the new house. The Wolf and German Shepard jumped the fence already to chase a squirrel leaving the other dog, whose only part shepard, by himself.

Beautiful dogs do they get along? Male on male aggression and also female on female . My friend from college had a big shephard she bite me when I told her NO! Thats when I knew shephards are quicker to bite than dobermans..I love big dogs :)

Biker, beautiful dogs. Rest assure these dogs know you rescued them and will be loyal to death. Good job! God bless.

We have three guppies.

One day we hope to get a Golden Retriever.

But, for now, it is just the guppies.

Well, we have chickens, Buff Orpingtons and Jersey Giants.  The rooster is 10-1/2 pounds now.

The Buffs come up to you when you are outside and talk to you nonstop, peck at your shoestrings, and if you sit down in the orchard, they will hop up on your lap and settle down for a snooze.
You can pick them up and they are happy to accompany you down the long driveway to check the mail.

We have a shop-chicken, a golden comet, who follows me or my husband, weaker, around the machine shop while we work, sitting down near you, if you are doing chucking work and staying at one machine for a while.  She will actually come and cluck a certain way if she wants water, or a different way when she wants to go outside and be with other chickens for awhile.

They're fun, and really pretty,
Mrs. Weaker.

We have 2 chihuahua's (11 and 2), 2 uromastyx a cat who has adopted us and plenty of wild birds who eat at our bird feeders.

I love animals of all (well, most!) kinds.  Through the years, I have had in my house cats, dogs, birds, snakes, mice, gerbils and even a chicken and a squirrel, plus a few horses in the barn.  Right now, I have a house full of dogs.  My own boxer, my son's catahoula mix and his friend's lab mix, along with her 6 puppies.  Thankfully, the puppies are about ready to go to their new homes.

They adore each other, grew up together. Both are males. I agree, German Shepard's have a higher tendency to bite than most dogs. These were only with us a short time because their owner came to get them. They seemed wild, for the longest time...but right when they came into the house, they jumped on the couch together.
They've been treated well. We don't normally have animals in the house but.... I miss them  :'(

Ouch! sorry about that. My impression was Dobermans bite more but who knows.Dogs are foreign to me, we only had one (German Shepard) for a short time. I've never been a dog person. But you had guts to correct him :P  I believe the more they know you, the less likely they are to bite. Could be an isolated incident.

Their sense of smell is awesome, maybe it was your perfume  ;)

My friend had Lady his (shepherd) when we were in college. I babysit her while they worked so she knew me LOL! She didn't like me telling her what to do. My doberman if she wanted to could bite my hand or arm off. They bite and tear but she is a dog and I respect her area. I believe a female doberman is very protective of her family. When I had my male doberman 20 years ago he was police trained and was also very protective of both my husband and I. Biker thank you for your humor............ :)

Thanks I replied to you but I guess it didn't post
He is the most beautiful German Shepard I've ever seen. His buddy is really nice to, very very hyper.

God Bless you too  :)
