We have our red  female doberman who loves fresh juice and she was begging to drink my glass....my dobe just turned 7 years old and she is the love of my life!!

We also have 3 cockatiel birds which sing and talk when I'm in the office. I have to seperate my dog from my birds by a baby gate......LOL!

I love animals...

...preferably grilled or with biscuits. ;)

I love birds most of all, I think.  We have 2 cats, and I also love dogs.

I had 4 cockatiels, and they loved to be with me.  They'd hang on my shoulders all day if they could.  I had to give them away, though, because I was allergic.  Perhaps I could tolerate one -- maybe I'll try to get one someday.  They are the sweetest and most friendly birds.

I also had a Solomon Island Eclectus parrot that I got in a very good deal (Back when I could afford it, which was long ago -- $900 for parrot and cage, because her previous owners were jealous and fought over her).  She was wonderful at first, but I moved several times, and she couldn't tolerate the moves.  Some birds really need stability.  She got very unfriendly, nippy, and finally flew away unexpectedly when I had her in the garage.  She slipped right out the narrow opening at the bottom of the door and somehow made it high up in a tree even with clipped wings.  I never got her back.

Castor, I've had one of my boys for over 20 years he loves me and he sings Happy Birthday and whistles I keep the radio for them. When I taught school one of our teachers brought her parrot and he got out of the cage and flew around the area and was never seen again. Many times today we can hear parrots talking in the trees above us. My doberman barks at them she is jealous............ :)

I have 4 dogs (2 Boston Terriers, a rat terrier and a Boston terrier/chihuahua mix), and 6 cats.

We love dogs at our house as my wife and sons are allergic to cats.  We have a half beagle now, and have only had hounds.  The other 3 hounds were Basenjis, the most unique and intelligent breed in my opinion. The are called the barkless dog as they can't bark, but yodel and howl and make other noises.  They are short haired and clean themself like a cat.  No shedding inside the house.  They can climb, so an 8-10 foot fence is needed for some of them.  We had two black and whites, and one tri.  My wife wants another one, but they are very expensive and we kind of want to rescue one, but they are hard to get as well.

Big time here. Last two years I lived in Tampa Fl, I rescued 23 dogs and puppies from a public park where people dumped them. I was unemployed 1 1/2 during that time. I got the dogs their shots, and any surgery they needed and found homes(had to have a fenced yard) for all but three. I kept those three and moved them to NC with me. I have the oldest who is 15 yrs old and have rescued four more dogs since 2005. The latest one was August 2012.
I live on a small hill top, feed deer(saw a eight point buck a couple of weeks ago) year round and all the other small animals, rabbits, squirrels, and birds. Also have a flock of turkey that roost in the trees and stop by every morning and evening. Largest count I had on them at one time was 41 turkeys.
I rather be around dogs then most people.

PS I am not a hunter or fisherman.

I don't own any animals myself, but I share a house with a Shih Tzu and a Siamese cat. IMO that's the best possible situation: I have petting privileges and love them both, but I'm not responsible for taking care of them.

Recovering IFB, I hope you're talking about chicken, pork, fish.

I'm not a peta fan..........

I love cows and chickens and pigs. On my stove or in my oven.

Mary had a little lamb
You've heard this rhyme before.
Then she passed her plate again
And had a little more.

I believe in a place called Rainbow Bridge where all animals go after they pass away, and where they will one day be reunited with their faithful and loving human companions from here on earth.  I have many furry friends who have gone on to that blessed place, and  I look forward with eager anticipation to that glorious reunion.

I could be wrong but if there are horses in heaven surely there are dogs.......... :)

"And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:  Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air."
-- Acts 10:11, 12

Well, in heaven there is no beer.  That's why we drink it here.  And when we're all gone from here.  Our friends will be drinking all the beer.
