Don was a United States Air Force Veteran
He taught Bible, Greek and Hebrew at Hyles Anderson College.

Any relation to the Marine vet David Fink that went to HAC in early 90's and early 00's?  The one who got on all of our cases?

No. This Dave Fink was a red headed guy, and his wife Karen ran the bookstore. They had 3 girls and a boy - Renee, Christina, Amy and Donald. He left the college in 1984 .

Not sure why this is a surprise.

Dan Hubbard was then head of the mission team and by default the Pastor to Daniel and  Heather Kokubun when he was passed away early 2015.

The scandal involving Dan Hubbard did not happen until early 2017, several years later. The members of the mission team had no idea about Bro. Hubbard's secret life or any of his unfaithfulness at the time Bro. Kokubun passed away.

I can only assume he was a comfort to Heather and her family as she went through the very difficult time of loosing her spouse almost 4000 miles from her extended family and friends.

Dan Hubbard is the former head of the Lima, Peru mission team for FBMI missions. He is no longer serving with FBMI.

In spite of loosing her husband in 2015, Heather Kokubun continues to serve faithfully on the Peru mission team.
Dan Kokubun was such a great guy and he and Heather were such a wonderful couple. Heather's testimony and faithfulness is an inspiration to us all.
