Dave Bewley?

Heard it through the grapevine that Dave Bewley is in failing (heart) health.

Does anyone have any info?
 
He is near the end. His brother wrote in his FB page about an hour ago:

They are doing a procedure on David right now that may give him a few days more to see his son Jeffery.

OMG.  I knew Dave from HB.  He's always been a pretty big guy.  I think he lives in Florida.  I'll put it out to my FB friends and see if they've heard anything.  So sad. 
 
Dave is one of the good guys and he's not in Florida... he's one of my favorite people because he was there when I was in college. I'll pray for him and the family...hugs from across the miles
 
I got a FB update from his brother.  "Procedure didn't do what it needed to do.  Prognosis is just a few hours before he sees our mom, three brothers and The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords."  My my so sad!  Pray for the family. 
 
Does anyone know the "three brothers" Marc mentioned waiting in Heaven?  I thought Dave was the oldest of 4 boys; were there others?

Dave's wife has cancer (don't know what kind) and had just had a chemo treatment when she heard he'd been hospitalized.

Praying they find peace and comfort even when it seems there's none to be found.

Yes, the Bewley's had 3 sons die in infancy.
 
Wasnt he a youth pastor, in Dearborn Hts ?

prophet Dave was a music leader he was never a youth pastor although he would have been a good one...I'm so sad to see him go to leave his family....heavens gain

Actually, he was a youth pastor at FBC and also pastored in a town south of Lowell, IN for a while.

When I got into the youth department, the group was broken up into 3 sections with 3 youth directors that Dave Hyles oversaw. Lapina had the junior high, Bewley had the 9th & 10th graders and Glenn Moffitt had the 11th and 12th graders. When Hyles left, Lapina took over the high school and I think soon thereafter, Bill Wirtz took over the junior high.

Dave Bewley was my youth pastor for two years until Lapina took the high school my junior year.

A year or two after college, my brother and I visited Dave B. at his church. IIRC, it was in Schneider, IN. Not sure how long he was there or where he went thereafter.

prophet you're correct on the youth pastor at Fbc because I worked at the youth center and Dave was always a lot of fun with the kids they loved him. He also had a good singing voice

Latest from his brother 2 hours ago.  Stable but in critical condition.  Continues in ICU.  Jehovah(?) arrives from being out of the country at 2:30.  The staff is trying to make him comfortable.  He's at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona.  Continue praying, he's not out of the woods yet.

I'm in AZ.  Is he at the clinic or the hospital?  Do you know what church he is a member of?
