Here is an update.  It looks like the family believes there was foul play involved.

Someone shared with me that he ministered to ex-felons.  God bless his family.  I think the not knowing has to be horrific.

If this is true, that opens up a huge realm of possibilities.

Thanks; I don't know the student or the family, but I have prayed for them - also that the truth will be revealed.

Naturally, the family would prefer foul play to suicide... news stories are always frustrating; the family claims that there was a cinder block on the gas pedal - the Sheriff's office won't confirm that - why? It's already being bandied about.
