Congrats to those Liberty Flames for earnin' The Dance.

Only down by three points coming down the second half.  Git to prayin all you liberal baptists ........did ya see their cheerleaders weren't coverin' their thighs!!!

;)

Somebody wuzn't prayin' hard enuff!

A good run for the Flames.  Acquitted themselves very well.

They hung in there.  Our bigs weren't terribly active offensively and there could have been better shot selection on the last play but they showed up and it was definitely an entertaining game.

And I have to say Alayman, I was surprised when I was a student 30 years ago they showed thighs then too. Of course the freebird I am I didn't think it bad then or now. :)

Whether to call a timeout in that situation or not is also a legitimate question, though I am usually a fan of not allowing the defense to set up.  One thing is for sure though, the refs ALWAYS swallow their whistles in that situation when it comes to contact, so there should be a better design of the play for the guard to draw the defense to him and dish to the weak side IMHO.

Yep, I really was pulling hard for them.  When they almost stole the ball on the inbounds under their own basket there at the end I about peed my pants. :D

That's the flesh. ;)

Ain't you gettin' too old to admit to lookin' at those youngin's?

lol

I once asked a former much older deacon who had a huge impact in my spiritual life when a couple's love life began to wane, and he said....

"you'll have to ask somebody older than me bub"

:D

LOL.  I just said I didn't think it was "bad" as in "wrong". :)

My brothers and cousins were discussing the last play. I liked letting the clock run as well. I just thought the ball-carrier should have stayed down the right lane instead of crossing over to the left. Looked like he turned a 2 on 2 into a 1 on 4.....but then I did have the advantage of replay and not having to carry it out. And the kid has been a good player for them the last two years. His brother graduated last year. He is the better of the two and bigger but both play with a lot of heart. Can never complain about someone doing that. I remember Kobe as a rookie. He was never afraid to take the last shot...and he wasn't making them very often then. Now he isn't afraid to take ANY shot.  :)
