Made my daughter a double edged 4" dagger. She garries it to colege concealed on her person. If the situation gets too serious and she can't beat them into submission she's to stab for the lower abdomen and rip upward. I bought her a Glock 19 for carry in non gunfree zones.

Just be careful, anyone trying that idea out, In Indiana, a knife sharpened on both sides is a legal definition of a dagger (in state law),  legal to own, but illegal to carry on your person.
Just saying be careful to abide the laws.

(I realize you've been posting to some of the other forums, but this is the first time I've seen you up here on the fighting forum.)

thanks... .. it;s good to see some familiar names  .. ...  i;m glad you are here... ....  i probably won;t be in the fighting forum too much.. .  trying to be more of a peacemaker these days than a fighter... ..... . 

Don't worry.  If anyone starts fighting you and it gets out of hand, just pee and vomit.

when i go through periods of bad panic attacks, and what i call electric nightmares, that happens anyway.. . and if it;s really bad.... seizures... . . . but it;s not the threat of physical harm that usually sets that off.. .. physical threats set off the kind of reaction that got me nicknamed chupacabra when i was little, by my adopted dad... .  but i;m not like that anymore....  at least not very often ....  :-\

LOL I was just kidding, but I think you know that. 

I can't even begin to imagine how your panic attacks feel.  God always be with you to heal you and comfort you.

Let every soul be subject to the higher powers.
  The right to keep and BEAR arms, is a higher power, than Indiana ordinances.  They don't even charge you with a misdemeanor, they just confiscate the 'dagger'.
If you think a Gov. has a right to take your 4" blade boot knife, you are a bootlicker.

Baby Girl had a drunk grab her in Ft. Lauderdale last July when we were there for her karate nationals. She was on the beach with some of her students.  It seems that when he ran away his right arm was hanging at right angles mid way between his wrist and elbow. The cops wanted her to join the Ft Lauderdale PD.

my sister carries a knife called a sere... it has a flat handle same thickness as the blade.... very easy to conceal...  but then she also carries a px4 storm concealed.. it;s in 45 auto.. . i witnessed her taking a guy apart several years ago that tracked her down through myspace then showed up on our doorstep unexpectedly....  some guys don;t understand the concept of no meaning no... .  she didn;t have a weapon on her that night at all....  just bare hands... . but when she finished with him he looked like he had been worked over with a billy club....  probably felt like it too. ....

when i was 10.. the same night i first met my adopted dad... my natural sister was murdered by her boyfriend.. i witnessed that too.. .. he had been smoking crystal meth and they started arguing at the dinner table ... then he started hitting her..  .. i don;t remember crawling into the corner but somehow that;s where i ended up.. .  she tried to fight back and pulled a knife from the kitchen drawer to fend him off...  but he took it away from her and then started stabbing her with it.. ...  all i could do was watch and scream.. . . when police got there he was standing in front of me refusing to put the knife down, sobbing, and screaming at the police to shoot him... . they pepper sprayed him instead and it got us both.. .. . i couldn;t see and couldn;t breathe .. felt like i was on fire.. ..  but the next thing i knew someone was carrying me out of the house and into an ambulance...and that;s the person who became my dad ... . . .. so i know that pepper spray is also effective ....  especially the industrial strength law enforcement kind.. ...  but it might not be legal to carry just anywhere either..  . .. and you certainly don;t want to get it on yourself while trying to spray somebody else.. ...  some of the police at my sisters house that night did exactly that and they were begging for help at the same time my dad was taking care of me.... i remember him tossing them a damp towel... which was the same thing one of them did to me when i was crying for help before the ambulance got there... ..  they didn;t want to touch me or get too close or even stay in the kitchen.... they just handcuffed my sisters boyfriend and left him facedown a few away from me then waited outside until other officers who weren;t affected arrived.. .. she was partially under the table but i couldn;t see her very well...... everything was blurry... all i knew is she wasn;t moving and wasn;t breathing.. .blood was everywhere.....    he was still screaming for them to shoot him and kill him. .. .  and i thought the world was ending...  .. it did in a way.. . at least that part of it.. for me.. ...

(Remembering the morbidly obese wrestlers Haystack Calhoun and Man Mountain Mike: they weren't the best wrestlers, but if they pinned their opponent, he wasn't getting up!)
