Cal / Dennis Streeter

Found this blog written by an M.D. I thought it's worth sharing.

Also found the news item below from 2006. Based on this information, I'm surprised he still has any kind of medical license.

Dr Dennis streeter still practices. The college recommended my daughter see them when she was there. The office didn’t take insurance

Based on my own personal experience, I would recommend an individual with M.D. after his or her name, instead of D.O.

Just do your homework.

We told her that we’d prefer her to go elsewhere and gave her a list of doctors in the area that accepted our insurance

Does this not alarm anyone else? Dr. S was sued for $2 million in 2006 for fraudulent insurance practices, etc. Now, he treats people, mostly in an Amish community with a product that is not approved by the FDA.

The Amish have little access to the outside world and tons of cash. What a perfect setup for the typical fraudster.

I know there were two Streeter brothers who were doctors when I was at HAC in the '70s. I guess there is a Dennis Strreeter and a Cal Streeter?

Someone enlighten me. I'm concerned about the Amish in Indiana.

You are correct. There are both Dennis and Cal. We saw both when we lived there. No complaints. And Cal hardly ever used "FDA-approved" anything.

Without divulging our conversation, my take on him NOW is that he is doing very little (86 is pretty old). I did ask him about one particular homeopathic treatment that is the current "rage" and he had never heard of it. I don't think he would mind me saying that when I asked him if the rumor I heard years ago of his fleeing to Canada was true, he said it was. They went to Winnipeg for a year.

We ended our conversation by rejoicing in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

That sounds like a good way to end a conversation.
