If you listen to his publicly available sermons, you will hear references to his work.  He travels weekly, and hence the 'border' run-ins.  I haven't listened to them all  so I am not sure how much he has divulged. 
'Communications technology service sector' is general enough. (He still has to physically maintain/ install new, for his customers, unlike some internet gurus I know

No,no.... He is definitely a nut job that's for sure. That is not the only video I have seen of him. He is picked on regularly at stuff fundies like.
