One of the victims is the sister of a friend.  Sick  so tired of this stuff getting swept under the rug.

Was it swept under the rug?  I haven't heard it was swept under the rug.  Who did the sweeping?

I'm not sure it was swept under the carpet, but the whole issue seems to have been ignored by FBC Wildomar. The only mention of FBC comes from a former member of the teen group who made some statements regarding him and who talked to the pastor about him due to other concerns, but so far I have not seen any evidence the church or church staff was aware of his activities.

This  victim claims Goddard covered it all up.  Goddard also said on tv that he hadn?t been at the church in over five years but that was a lie because they have him on video preaching a couple years ago.  Just sad all around

Hello, Larry

Pretty much. This is the personal story of the girl that first came forward.

Having 2 teenage daughters makes me furious to read her words and how she was treated.

As I was afraid another girl and it sounds like this has been going on for a while.

Incredibly horrible stories.

If true, I'm having a hard time believing the pastor did nothing.

I can only quote others: Horrible stories; such pastors are surely cursed.

This is the logical conclusion of Hyles "Cover it up for the sake of the ministry" disaster.

The cover up becomes the main issue and the main issue is forced into the background.

Now, instead of the church standing by the victims the church leadership including the pastor are in jeopardy of prosecution for the cover up!

I have only ever seen it done properly once. Here in San Diego it was discovered that a pastor was molesting little girls. The deacons and other pastoral staff met to discuss how this was to be handled. After a couple hours of various methods of cover up were discussed, one of the staff members reached over and picked up the phone and dialed 911 and told the dispatcher what had happened. The pastor went to prison. The staff member was ostracized by the deacons and other staff and he and his family eventually left the church. But at least he did the right thing. When the very first allegation was made the police should have been notified and they should have conducted the investigation without interference and with total cooperation from the church and staff members.
