I am a bi-vocational pastor. I was born again at 7 years old. I surrendered to preach at age 21. I am a KJV guy, but I would consider myself a T.R. guy.

I stumbled onto this page several years ago, back when Saluder was getting a huge following.
I wanted to see what he was all about because his church is close to my area.

I also began to hear people talk about this guy named Jack Hyles. I heard people I knew that both spoke highly of him, and others who proclaimed him a Heretic, so I wanted to learn for myself, so a Google search led me here.

I was discipled in IFB circles during the mid 80s. After getting out of the Navy, I moved to California for 12 years and while there, got into MacArthur/Baptist circles. After leaving California, I wanted to get back to an IFB style church and began looking online to see what happened to "fundies" in the past dozen years or so. Of course, such a search led me to stuff about Hyles and ultimately this forum about two iterations ago.

I read it back in the day and found it unconvincing. Of course I was a little more biased towards Hyles back then. I'd like to read it again to see if my perception has changed.

I interacted with Voyle Glover many many times after I read it. He was demonized, threatened, made to look like a crazy man, and many other things by Hyles sycophants. He was a reliable witness to the things he published. I was thoroughly convinced that it was all true.
