The body of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a suspect in the Boston Marathon terror attack, was buried in a Muslim cemetery in Doswell, Virginia without their knowledge or permission.  The town's legal authorities are saying that if they can demonstrate that the body was illegally buried in their township then it will be dug up and taken out of state.

As a Christian, if you had this hot potato tossed in your lap, would you bury the body as a sign of Christian grace and charity?

I think a Muslim cemetery is a good choice.

Honestly, I don't care about where the carcass was buried and my attitude is reflected in Scripture....let the dead bury the dead.

The woman who brokered the deal to get him buried used "Jesus said love your enemies" as a basis for her efforts....

Mullen, a licensed professional counselor who has lived in Richmond for most of her life, said she was sitting in a Starbucks Tuesday when it hit her: She could be the one to end the controversy.

“Jesus says [to] love our enemies,” said Mullen, who holds a degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

send him back to Russia to his parents.............

That was my first response too, but, (and keep in mind I'm just attempting to spur balanced discussion, playing devil's advocate, etc) is that response borne more out of patriotism than Christian ethics?

Amen

The reason I said send him back to Russia is because if you live in America it's a freedom and priviledge he gave that up because of his actions..........

Again, my feelings are pretty much the same, but as a Christian, we don't let politics drive our actions, at least not ultimately.  Right?

Feed him to the fishes just like Osama.
As Clint said in the movie Josey Wales when Jamie asked " I wish we had time to bury them fellas."

Josie "Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms."

Disclaimer: I left the first half out, not sure what the rules are for someone quoting a cuss word.

I don't feel my actions has anything to do with politics it's a question of right or wrong ......he did wrong no one wants to bury him in America so send him back to Russia ...........

Well said, aleshanee.  I actually discussed this very issue with a friend of mine, the same day the story broke about local cemeteries refusing to bury him.  I suggested cremation, just so there would be no shrine, but she pointed out that his religion forbade it.  So burial at sea is the next best option.  I was actually surprised, though, that it took so long for a muslim cemetery to agree to bury him.

Bury him in the Pet Sematary, and then we can kill him all over again.

Personally, I don't care where they bury him, but if it was okay to bury Ben Laden at sea (like that really happened ::))...then why not dump his worthless carcas there too.  But I don't care really where you bury his body..much more concerned about where his soul will be spending eternity.

My cemetery?  If it's my cemetery, I'm beyond having an opinion on the matter.

Maybe the better question to elicit the desired response is, "Would you want him buried next to your mother?"

Who cares. He's dead. He's not gonna bomb anyone else.
