We could go into an 1870's world overnight. Glad I use Linux.
 
just think..... if the problem progresses - gets worse - and becomes something that can;t be fixed...... the people with old fashioned printing presses and the paper boys on the street could become the information moguls again..... :sneaky: ....might even put the post office back in the black -- um... well..... maybe not the post office... .. but it would certainly change the fortunes of many in the cyberworld over night....🙃
 
It's a bad update in a piece of enterprise security software, for which the fix was simply to delete a driver file and reboot the computer.

Ease up on the Armageddon.

Jesus made it clear that there will come a time in history of great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world, nor ever shall be. He wasn't talking about the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. How do we know? Because just in the 20th century the two world wars and the millions upon millions killed under Communism make the events in A.D. 70 look like a Sunday School picnic. I'm not worried about it but just read the Book of Revelation to get a taste of future events.

Obviously a significant passage of time and history after this great tribulation is implied here.

Ransom, I don't know why you have to personally attack me or my motives. I have read multiple articles from reputable sources of what may very well take place if the electrical grid was attacked taking down all the computer systems which we rely on. It would take us back to the 1870's in a world my grandfather was born into. He was born in 1878 and never saw an automobile until he was a grown man. In a commission report (2008) a pulse event could with one estimate "within a year or so, two-thirds of the United States population would die. The other estimate is that within a year or so, 90% of the U.S. population would die. We’re talking about total devastation. We’re not talking about just a regular catastrophe.”

I know you don't believe in a pre-tribulation rapture but I do. I don't believe Christians will experience the time of Tribulation described in the Book of Revelation. Is that enough to question my motive and call me someone just seeking attention even if you think I am wrong concerning that subject? I fully realize Christians differ on end time events and I respect that. I believe the global computer outage is just a foretaste of what according to Bible prophecy will one day take place some time in the future.

Faulty software took out the electrical grid in Ontario and the Northeast in 2003. It didn't set us back to the 1870s. They fixed the damage and life went on. Your "reputable sources" are historically myopic.

This interview by Maria Bartiromo with a clone is something that no one in past generations could even comprehend. I can easily imagine the Antichrist seemingly killed coming back as a clone to deceive the whole world. I know many reject clear Bible prophecies concerning the regathering of the nation of Israel that happened in 1948, the city of Jerusalem being brought back under Jewish control in 1967, the current nations aligned against Israel as given in Ezekiel 38 that is a foretaste of the battle of Gog and Magog, the attempt to bring about a New World Order with one government superseding national governments, the distress of nations Jesus talked about in Matthew 24, etc., but Jesus will return just like he left as he said he would when he ascended into heaven. Jesus will set up His kingdom of righteousness and will reign for 1,000 years with a rod of iron. No one knows when He will return but all the signs of Bible prophecy point to that marvelous event.
