Why I attended HAC

Whatever your feelings are today toward HAC, there was a time when you made the decision to attend.  So here is the question, "Why did you choose to attend HAC?"

My preacher (who did not attend HAC counseled me to.  I was choosing between HAC, BJ, Trinity in JAX, and PCC.

It was between HAC and another school.  HAC accepted the GI Bill plus a close friend was already there.

Looking back, I had low standards for choosing.

I "thought" I was called to preach. I wanted to reach a lot of people for Christ. I attended Pastors School and it appeared that this was the place where it was happening. The fact they had an open admissions policy helped based on my high school grades

Ok True story.

One girl came to Hyles-Anderson College from Australia.  She loved music and wanted to be a Music Major.  She loved Gospel Music and was especially enthralled with Sandi Patty  She decided to go to Hyles-Anderson College in Indiana because Sandi Patty graduated from there.  She came and enrolled and started classes and found out that Sandi Patty graduated from the Church of God school called Anderson University in Anderson Indiana.  She decided to stay at Hyles-Anderson and I am pretty sure she graduated as a music major.
