Why do some people prefer classical music over rock-n-roll?

I like both. Which I prefer depends on my mood and the particular piece.

Good question. It's all about sex, adultery, murder, humanism and paganism. Some of its most notable composers were homosexuals and hated the Jews. No one could possibly write God-honouring music in such a wordly style!

I prefer it (non-lyrical classical music) while reading a book. It helps me concentrate.

I was exposed to an abundance of classical music at home and at public school. When I was given a choice, I shunned "rock 'n roll" because I thought it was shallow and disjointed. I was not saved or in church when I formed those opinions.
