Perhaps because life is somewhat unbearable for these people and fantasy and attention brings temporary relief. The emotional high of making people respond to your actions brings certain enjoyment. In short, they have pathetic lives and the fun and games of being a troll brings enjoyment to life. It is rather pathetic, and to watch a troll is kind of like watching a drunk bang headfirst into a poll.

The goal for anyone addicted to being a forum troll is to find real hope and meaning in life. Come to the cross and find hope in Christ.
