What Modern Versions were made using the old WH text?

Does anyone know of any modern version Bibles that were made using the old 1800s Westcott and Hort text?

By modern Versions I mean  Bibles made after 1980.
 
NLT did not use WH text. They used UBS4 NA27.

None. The Revised Version and American Standard Version made use of it (though not exclusively), and by the time the next major version was published (the Revised Standard Version), the Dead Sea Scrolls and Egyptian papyri had been discovered, so the Westcott and Hort text was no longer the state of the art.
 
One of my favorite MV Bibles is the NET Bible.

What is the Greek text behind the NET Bible New Testament?

As for the Greek text used in the NET Bible New Testament, an eclectic text was followed, differing in several hundred places from the standard critical text as represented by the Nestle-Aland 27th edition (each of these differences are indicated by a double dagger [‡] preceding the text-critical note). The translators who prepared the initial drafts of individual New Testament books made preliminary decisions regarding textual variants, and these were then checked and discussed by editors and a textual consultant. Where there are significant variant readings, these are normally indicated in a text-critical note [tc], along with a few of the principal witnesses (Greek manuscripts, ancient versions, and patristic writers) supporting the variants. While this listing of manuscript evidence is not intended to be exhaustive, readers familiar with the major witnesses will find this feature useful in making brief evaluations for themselves, sometimes with the aid of the textual apparatus in Nestle-Aland 27th edition of the Greek New Testament.

Agreed. This is how I understand the history.
 
I thought I would check in my dog-eared  Oxford NIV Scofield Study Bible c1984.

My wife bought this one for me just after it came out in 1984.

It is one of my favorite MV Bibles.

Really bad shape though, ripped cover and torn pages. I still use it.

I looked to see if the translators were trying to trick me with that old sneaky WH text from the 1800s.

Boy was I  relieved to find this.

Quote from p. xix at the top of the page.

"The Greek text used in translating the New Testament was an eclectic one. No other piece of ancient literature has such an abundance of manuscript witnesses as does the New Testament. Where existing manuscripts differ, the translators made their choice of readings according to accepted principles of New Testament textual criticism. Footnotes call attention to places where there was uncertainty about what the original text was The best current printed texts of the Greek New Testament were used."

Well it is no wonder that this version sells so well. It is really just an updated KJV with the manuscript problems resolved.

Praise God HE preserves His Word in the NIV.

Oh, almost forgot, the NIV translators did not use the old outdated WH text from the 1800s.

I am still looking, maybe I'll find one of my MV Bibles that used the old WH.

The Emphasized Bible by Rotherdam is one Bible using Westcott-Hort.  Since it is rather literal and easily available online it can be very helpful in showing that the Critical Text is essentially the same today (western non-interps excepted) as the W-H text.

And was published in 1902, whereas the OP defined "modern" as post-1980.

How's that reading comprehension working out for you, Stevie?

Why do you waste time and energy with stupid posts?  My point was how easy it is to use the Emphasized to see that, outside the western non-interps, the Westcott Hort text, based on  Vaticanus primacy, is still essentially the Critical Text.  As stated above.

I'm more interested in substance than fluff and posturing.

There are a number of places where Westcott-Hort stupidities were abandoned for the pure Bible text, based on the papyri showing the Vaticanus corruption. Mostly relatively minor variants are involved. You can look at dozens of variants and the Westcott-Hort Vaticanus ultra-minority corruption remains the Critical Text ultra-minority corruption.

I haven't found any of my MV Bibles that use the WH text. It has fallen out of use due to improvements and advancement in modern TC.

Could you mention some "improvements and advancements" that were not simply rejecting an earlier Hortian corruptions in favor of the text that is in the TR/AV?

Remember, you can use the Emphasized, easily available on the Net, as a quite accurate English reflection of the Hortian text.

Even 3 to 5 of these improvements would be helpful.

And if you simply don't know of any (you are talking theoretically only, and don't know of practical examples) please have the integrity to say "dunno".
