What did you give up to serve Jesus?

What worldly habit did you give up after getting saved if any?  What sacrifices have you made?

I didn't give up anything but I did become a living sacrifice.  Reasonable service, ya know.

I gave up beer, drugs and Rock n'Roll music.  It has helped my Christian walk.

I mean this with all sincerity that I do not believe I "gave up" anything.  I left behind things that shame me to think about and found joy that had always eluded me.  I left behind habits that brought regret and exchanged them for habits that are fulfilling. 

There is nothing I look back on and say it was a "sacrifice" to follow Jesus.

Gluttony, greed and lust.

If you mean, what did I leave behind? I left behind my life.  Jesus said

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.  For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Ultimately I guess the only thing I gave up to serve and accept Jesus....was hell!

That gluttony one is a hard one for fat Baptists to give up.
