I'll admit I didn't research the author to make an ad hominem attack and avoid the subject matter altogether , but I thought my take was evident in the allusion to the SBC's initiation of their gradual purge of the Baptist name in their marketing and naming of churches. (I expect them to soon propose changing the name of the Convention.)

My take is, I'm not surprised. The SBC has been courting the favor of anti-Christian ideologues for decades with apology after apology in response to politically motivated accusations of racism and misogyny. It was asked once on another board, when does this all stop? My response was, when every SBC pulpit is filled with a black lesbian.

I believe that the SBC should have its own version of "DOGE" so that members of SBC Churches could see where sizable portions of their donations are distributed (I.E., squandered)! There used to be something called the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountablility. Is this still a sound organization or has it become "Woke" and is now covering for all their woke buddies?"

Someone needs to communicate the gospel to Elon Musk, get him saved, and when he is done cleaning up our federal government, let him go through the books at the Southern Baptist Convention!
