this happened yesterday off malaekahana beach on the north shore of oahu.... we knew him.. as did a lot
of people in the ems - fire department - and ocean safety community... he appeared in at least one of
the pirates of the carribean movies..... and was a professional surfer who travelled worldwide...
...he joined the oahu ocean safety in 2016.... ..other members of my family knew him better
than i did.... but i do know he was a christian and had a strong faith in God...
.... this is the 4th shark attack off oahu this year... .
