It's a shame that he was a Christian Scientist.

But he was a great actor. If you've never seen Tombstone, it was probably his best role as Doc Holliday.

Thanks for the link. I've been wanting to watch it. Also didn't know he was a Christian Scientist as he did go through cancer treatments so obviously he wasn't practising.

A snippet from The Gospel Coalition website:

"Spiritual healing is a core teaching of Christian Science. Yet while Christian Scientists are discouraged from using medicine or seeking health care from a doctor, it is not necessarily forbidden by the religion. The official position of the sect is that it is a matter of individual conscience."

definitely the best of all the movies based on the ok corral - one we never get tired of watching.....
