Tyson vs Paul

I thought Mike (Let Me Nibble on Your Ear) Tyson was banned from boxing.
A 58 year-old going against a 27 year-old? OK... Tyson has experience on his side but hasn't fought since Paul was (presumably) in the third grade. I don't want to dis Tyson for his age, I'm older than he is, but who has fought more recently?
I hope Paul wears ear protection...
I’m going with Tyson…but I’m afraid this is staged and being set up for a second fight (AKA $$$)

I am suspicious of the whole WWE style setup too. I try think Tyson knocks him out by the 4th round.

Looking at all the play-up, I'm strongly suspecting it's staged. Stupidity of gambling in general aside, I think anyone who puts money on this fight is extra foolish.

As I figured, the fight was staged. They should have just called it an exhibition because that’s what it was. What I got wrong was thinking there’d be a second fight with Jake Paul. As it turns out, the stage was instead set for a second fight with his brother, Logan Paul.
The Netflix streaming sucked. It was amateur hour inside and outside the ring. Regardless, reportedly Tyson got 20 million, and Jake 40 million, so they both “won.” I’ll add that it was nice to have a brief return to my younger years by just seeing Tyson in a ring and enjoying the hype, but next time I’ll go to bed early and watch it the next day.

Edited to add, the women’s fight showed the heart of a lion in the Serrano girl, and she was robbed.

my dad wanted tyson to win too.... . (old guys sticking together - and all that) .... i never heard of jake paul before all the news about this fight came out.... . i didn;t really know much about tyson either since i don;t watch boxing until the olympics come around once every 4 years..... an only watch it then if no other sport i like better is showing.... ........ personally i never saw the point in having 2 guys beat each other into early dementia so one of them can wear a gold plated belt and get his picture on a cereal box...
.... . but then there are other sports i;m a huge fan of that other people don;t understand... .. so i guess we are even....

It was rigged. Watch Tyson clips of him hitting mitts one week before fight and watch how he moves in the ring with Jake.
Jake is not a true professional boxer. He’s a trained person who knows how to box but not a professional boxer.
He’s making tons of money so good for him on that front.

Yep, Tyson pulled so many punches. Had clear shots that would have put Paul on the mat multiple times and Tyson didn't follow thru. I get Tyson has bills to pay. They should have said $40 million to the winner & $20 million to the loser and Tyson would have won in the 1st round.
