I'm not worried about Trump's Cabinet picks. I watched his show, "The Apprentice", more times than I care to remember. I think he enjoys saying, "you're fired!"

With Republicans taking control of the Senate, many of President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet nominees are likely to face an easy path to confirmation, even some who may be controversial.

Full list of Trump's Cabinet picks so far​

Here are the people Trump has chosen for critical Cabinet posts and other top White House jobs:

  • White House chief of staff: Susie Wiles
  • Secretary of state: Marco Rubio
  • Attorney general: Matt Gaetz
  • Deputy attorney general: Todd Blanche
  • HHS secretary: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
  • U.N. ambassador: Elise Stefanik
  • "Border czar": Tom Homan
  • Defense secretary: Pete Hegseth
  • Secretary of veterans affairs: Doug Collins
  • National security adviser: Michael Waltz
  • White House counsel: William McGinley
  • Solicitor general: Dean John Sauer
  • Secretary of homeland security: Kristi Noem
  • CIA director: John Ratcliffe
  • Director of national intelligence: Tulsi Gabbard

  • White House chief of staff: Susie Wiles: she has tons of experiance as a campaigner and organizer and has DJT complete trust but I would have prefered someone like a Newt Gingrich or a Karl Rove in this position. Someone who knows the back halls of Washington and can get things done.

  • Secretary of state: Marco Rubio taking a wait and see here, but at least he won't get pushed around.

  • Attorney general: Matt Gaetz I would have prefered someone with a spotless record and tons of legal experience. Not sure he will have the senate votes.

  • HHS secretary: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: This should be interesting. I bet he will shake up the CDC a little. A doctor with exective experience might have been a better choice

  • U.N. ambassador: Elise Stefanik though a rising star she has little experience in diplomacy and foreign affairs. She would have been better off moving up in the house with increasing power and influence.

  • "Border czar": Tom Homan He should be just fine. He will do just what Trump wants him to do. Head of Homeland might have been better.

  • Defense secretary: Pete Hegseth: Im concerned with his lack of high level or pentagon experance in the military. The Sec Def manages a budget of almost a trillion dollars, almost 3 million employees and 750 military installations around the world.

  • Secretary of veterans affairs: Doug Collins Baptist pastor and former House member. He served as a Navy Chaplain in the 80s and again as an Air Force Reserve Chaplain during the Gulf War. He was deployed to Balad Air Force Base in Iraq for five months in 2008. He is currently a Air Force reserve Colonel but not a line officer. He should be fine in this role but combat veteran with exective experience might have been better. Possibly someone who knows the veteran benefits system better.

  • National security adviser: Michael Waltz as a former green bereit with years of experience on defense and foreign policy from serving on the House Armed Services, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence committees.

  • White House counsel: William McGinley he knows Washington and the law, he should be fine.

  • Solicitor general: Dean John Sauer lots of experience, he should be fine.

  • Secretary of homeland security: Kristi Noem I like her but I think she will be out of her league without senior law enforcement or military experience. This will like kill her career and she may not be around long.

  • CIA director: John Ratcliffe he should be fine but I would have prefered someone with many years of intelligence experience from NSA, DIA, or the US military.

  • Director of national intelligence: Tulsi Gabbard I would have preferred someone with many years of intelligence experience from NSA, DIA, or the US military.
Thats my 2 cents worth if its even worth that much.

I give A+ to all Trump's picks so far. You need outsiders to drain the swamp, not insiders who are part of the old boy club
 
I was just reading a comment from a Democrat Senator Chris Murphy decrying Trump's pick, Matt Gaetz for AG. If confirmed, Murphy said Trump would use Gaetz to go after his political enemies!!! 😂😂😂😂 Something no self respecting Democrat would ever do, huh?

ok..... so - for another 2 cents.... . who would be better in each of the positions where you expressed doubts over trumps picks?.....🤨.. ..in several categorys you said you would have preferred someone else.. :unsure:... have anyone in mind?.....
