That was painful to watch. IMO, Harris "won" and Trump was on the defensive all night. Harris was masterful at using all the misinformation/quotes, etc about Trump to her advantage. They both told lies and distortions but Harris did it much better.

Harris "falling part without a teleprompter" never happened. I also believe Trump wasted his closing statement.

Independents will decide the next president. Harris did a better job (if you want to call it that) in swaying their vote to her.

I never watched it was working

All Trump really needed to do was stay on point, pound the issues, and not let his ego be baited. From the time Harris disparaged his rallies, it was game over. She pushed his buttons, and he let them be pushed.

Trump was brittle, Harris was unlistenable, and the moderators weren't even trying to hide their bias. What a horrorshow. After about the first half hour, I was praying for a gong.

I agree totally. Going in, the bias was expected but I think Trump should have pointed it out once or twice. She was well prepared and exceeded her expectations.
Trump was his usual narcissistic self and was his own worst enemy.

No one will convince me that Harris was not given the questions before the debate to look like she knew what she was talking about. Others said her earring were audio earrings, photos of pearl like earring that are sold.

if Trump would have discussed the issues and not his personal life he wauld have scored lots of points.

He also needs a specific plan for how to deal with things like Obama care, Gaza, Ukraine, elder fraud, Fentynal and china. He made it look like he was winging it.

Issues to discuss.

1. Illegal immigration.
2. Inflation
3. Crime
3. Gun Control
4. Partial birth and late term abortions
5. Men in womans sports
6. Weak national defense and weak foreign polocy.
7. Democrat proposed tax increases
8. Deficit spending and the national debt.
9, Critical race theory.
10. Defunding the police.
11. Energy policy.
12 Future of Social Security.

Her earrings:

They appear to be a discontinued Tiffany design:

There are other images of her wearing the same pair. Apparently she's got a thing for pearls.

The supposed Nova earphones she is being accused of wearing:

Quite frankly, they look nothing alike apart from gold and pearls.

Remember back in 2004 how George W. Bush was alleged to be wearing a wire during one of his debates, because of the way his suit jacket wrinkled? (It turned out the Secret Service had put him in a bulletproof vest.) And in the same campaign, John Kerry was accused by some of pulling a cheatsheet out of his pocket, that apparently was actually just a pen. (Technically he shouldn't have had either, but who's going to gripe over a pen?) Same tempest in a teapot. Harris seems to be just wearing expensive earrings.

Of course it's plausible she was coached on some of the questions. Remember in 2016 how Donna Brazile got in a whole lot of trouble for giving debate questions to the Clinton campaign while working both for the DNC and CNN. So the Dems aren't above that, though it could also be that Harris was better prepared than her detractors assumed.

You can't remember just one?
1. "Best economy" - Nope. David Stockman months ago did a comparison and even Obama's was a hair better.
2. "Drain the swamp" - while not mentioned (thankfully) in the debate, his last administration was filled with "swamp".

By what metric?

"Filled"?? Really.

Though it's true he went in a bit naive...even Christ had a devil among his circle of disciples.

Here's his first cabinet somewhat romanticized in the painting. Can you point out the swamp denizens?
