Interesting. A few years ago, BSU had a slop liberal, feminist, pro alphabet agenda, DEI, you name it university president. This was about the time that it appeared that Boise, indeed, Ada County was succumbing to liberal ideology despite it being in a solidly red state. I know for a fact that she, BSU's president, had run into conflict with many in the state legislature and the State Board of Education because of her ideology and her attempts to implement it in the school. The local leftist rag here in northern Idaho of course fawned over her and characterized the friction between her and the legislature as the old guard trying to impede new progressive thought. Then COVID hit. I don't know what became of this university president... I can't even recall her name. I don't rely on the local leftist rag for information as you can imagine... But recently, the Idaho SBOE passed a resolution that outlawed the use of DEI in all forms of educational decision making. Now, a coach like this comes into the spotlight....

Not a surprise. I am happy to hear different...

LDS tend to acclimate to whatever the current political pulse dictates or whatever position would support the bottom line of the ward leaders. The current political environment in Idaho is tending back toward a more conservative stance.

I don't know how much the LDS pulls this coach's strings but The fact that his views are finding purchase are indicative of a shift from the money and progressive ideology corruption of college football. Are the progressive philosophies merely suffering a temporary backlash or are people genuinely pulling their heads out of their collective hind quarters? Time will tell.

I did not know he was LDS.
So I retract he is a Christian. 😊

Very glad to stand corrected. I saw that info on a website yesterday about him being a Mormon and I checked it out again just now. It appears that it is misinformation on the web.
