KJV-onlyists have a hard time making truth claims without giving away the fact that they are mendacious and ignorant. Here is exhibit B, again courtesy of Bibleburner:
Now, when a KJV clown tells you to "go check" something, you really should - if only because he really doesn't want you to. The average KJVer is a consummate ignoramus, and is hoping you will just take his word for it. Nearly every time, to actually "go check" what he is claiming will prove his dishonesty. Remember the Maestroh Axiom: "a person cannot be a King James Only advocate without at the same time being dishonest."
So, let's "go check." We already know what Bibleburner is trying to argue:
Uh-oh, that doesn't look good for the ESV. We'd better keep reading.
Whew! Crisis averted. Looks like the ESV affirms the blood atonement after all.
In fact, let's look elsewhere.
Wait, isn't that pretty much exactly the thing that Bibleburner tried to say the modern versions didn't say? Well, that's what happens when your Bible knowledge only extends to the usual talking points.
In fact . . .
Indeed, far from being "bloodless," the ESV (like all modern versions) is veritably swimming in blood - as high as a horse's bridle, so to speak.
Of course, you're not supposed to have read those passages.
They don't count, because the KJV clowns think you're stupid.
Biblebeliever said:Yes they do. They attack the blood atonement in Colossians 1:14. Now go check what I am telling you.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:14 KJV)
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Col. 1:14 ESV)

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. (Col. 1:19-20)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. (Eph. 1:7)

for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matt. 26:28)
And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many." (Mark 14:24)
And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. (Luke 22:20)
So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him." (John 6:53-56)
But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water. (John 19:34)
Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)
whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. (Rom. 3:25)
Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. (Rom. 5:9)
The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? (1 Cor. 10:16)
In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.†. . . Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. (1 Cor. 11:25, 27)
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (Eph. 2:13)
But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. (Heb. 9:11-12)
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. (Heb. 9:14)
Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. (Heb. 9:22)
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus . . . (Heb. 10:19)
How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? (Heb. 10:29)
and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. (Heb. 12:24)
So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. (Heb. 13:12)
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant. . . . (Heb. 13:20)
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you. (1 Pet. 1:2)
knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. (1 Pet. 1:18-19)
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood . . . (Rev. 1:5)
And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. (Rev. 5:9)

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. (Rev. 12:11)
